When you’re down on your luck what else can you do

Of the Mississippi Delta and boy was she mean
She starts into harpin’ “Harpin’ on Me” is all I could hear
That’s your cue boy, put a harp noise here.

She smoked and she drank and she sometimes cursed
Chased every thrill even robbed a nurse
Why’d she rob a nurse you may ask; It’s such an unusual crime
Maybe she did it so I could make this rhyme
