Have You ever Loved a Woman

from Soulism: Live at the Studio Venue by Big Daddy T Band

about

This is Hector's feature in the show and well worth a listen. He is a great singer but his guitar work on this song is what inspired me to ask him to join the band. This version is one of my all time favorites. Hector is one of the best and purest blues guitarists I know and this is a highlight.

lyrics

Have you ever loved a woman
So much that you tremble in pain?
Have you ever loved a woman
So much you tremble in pain?
And all the time you know
She bears another man's name
But you just, woman
So much it's a shame and a sin
You just
So much it's a shame and a sin?
And all the time you know
She belongs to my imaginary friend
So much
And you know you can't leave her alone?
You just love a woman
And you know you can't leave her alone?
Something deep inside of you
Won't let you wreck best friend's home
